School Site Visits
Our shelter’s Outreach Coordinator (Steve Kragenbrink) also conducts site and school visits throughout the year to bring humane education into local classrooms. We also provide a humane education elective at individual schools in the Spring. Many of our available lesson plans fulfill California State Educational Standards and more information is available by request.
Group Tours
We also offer shelter tours (by appointment) for groups, clubs and classrooms. Our shelter tours will take you behind the scenes of an animal shelter, increase awareness of the importance of Spaying and Neutering, showcase our shelter’s animal population, and give you hands on time with the dogs and cats that call our shelter home.
