Tuffy

This week’s featured Pet Pal is Tuffy, a 5-year-old tan & white Chihuahua mix who has called Woods Humane Society home since June. Tuffy is neutered, current on vaccinations, micro chipped, and house trained. He walks great on a leash and LOVES to jump into your arms (and stay there as long as possible). Very friendly and easy to handle, Tuffy has participated in our shelter’s outreach program as a Woods K9 Ambassador.

Tuffy was brought to WHS when his previous owner fell ill and could no longer provide care for him--his previous owner states that Tuffy’s favorite activity is to “loaf in the sun”. Tuffy is a small dog with a big personality and would do very well in a smaller home or apartment. He is quiet, gentle, and sweet but we recommend that he not go to a home with very young children (he hasn’t been around young kids before). If you or anyone you know is looking for a great little companion that you can take just about everywhere—stop by Woods Humane Society and spend some time getting to know little Tuffy. Warning: You just might fall in love.
